Most mobile phone manufacturers have chosen to alleviate the problem from the side: reduce the input current, the fever control to a reasonable range, such as with a support 5V / 2A, 9V / 1.8A, 12V / 1.5A QC2.0 charger , Respectively. But this does not solve the problem.

QC3.0 is based on the improvement of QC2.0. The biggest improvement in QC3.0 was to replace the "fixed voltage" management mechanism with "INOV" (Intelligent Negotiation for Optimum Voltage). It allows the input voltage to start from 3.6V and is trimmed to 0.2V (200mV) in combination with real-time battery temperature, conversion efficiency, and charge, and is incrementally increased or decreased over the allowable input voltage range (9V or 12V) . The QC2.0 can only be 5V / 9V / 12V in the "non-one or two" choice.

In the "INOV" management mechanism, QC3.0 can greatly reduce the loss of DC / DC converter circuit significantly, thereby effectively alleviating the quick charge when the heat problem. QC3.0 can be 38% more efficient than QC2.0, 27% increase in charging speed, fever by 45%, about 35 minutes will be able to charge a cell phone from zero to 80%.
